Methyl salicylate, also known as wintergreen oil, is widely found in nature. It is the main component of wintergreen, a small medicinal oil. In addition to methyl salicylate, a small amount of by-product 5-sulfo-salt is produced. Acid and salicylic acid can remove 5-sulfosalicylic acid and salicylic acid in wastewater by resin adsorption method, wherein 5-sulfosalicylic acid is an important pharmaceutical intermediate and has great recovery value.
The salicylic acid adsorption resin provided by Kingshan resin has the advantages of stable physical and chemical properties, large adsorption capacity, good selectivity, high adsorption rate, convenient regeneration, economical and practical, etc. It is widely used in the treatment of wastewater organic matter.
