Nissan and Honda’s sales in China drop 29.8% and 29.2%

Nissan and its joint ventures sold 79500 vehicles in China, a decrease of 29.8 percent compared with a year ago, Nissan announced on December4.
During the January-November period of 2012, sales by Nissan and its joint ventures in China declined 3.3 percent on an annual basis to 1.09 million units. Nissan is producing vehicles with Dongfeng Motor Group in China.
Honda also announced that including joint ventures, its November sales dropped 29.2 percent year on year to 41205 vehicles in China. During the first eleven months of 2012, sales totaled 535313 units, and fell 0.8 percent from the same period of last year. Honda is producing vehicles with Dongfeng Motor Group and GAGC in China.
