Regular direct passenger flights have been flying between China and Taiwan since Dec. 2008. Previously, nonstop flights have had to take roundabout routes via Hong Kong airspace. The direct flights cut flying time in half and saving traveling cost.
With destinations and flight numbers applied for by aviation companies continuously increasing, airlines from both sides will conduct a total of 108 two-way flights on the basis of week.
The direct flight points in Taiwan:Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, Taipei Songshan Airport, Taichung Chingchuankang Airport, Kaohsiung International Airport
The direct flight points in China:Beijing, Shanghai (Pudong), Guangzhou, Xiamen, Nanjing, Chengdu, Chongqing, Hangzhou, Dalian, Shenzhun, Wuhan, Fuzhou, Qingdao, Changsha, Haikou, Kunming, Xian, Tianjin.
Agree to open direct flight points in China:Shenyang、Guilin、Zhengzhou
