Mr. Wong, using the development kit of Apple Watch with the application programming interface of Tesla’s Model S, has created something unique. If Tesla has planned to work on such improvement, surely Tesla Model S app for the Apple watch might not be far away.
The energy innovation and EV company wants to add a function in its EVs that would enable users to summon their vehicle anywhere or to make the vehicle park itself in the parking lot. There is huge prospect that this Tesla Motors app might be developed on the iPhone, which would later be incorporated in the Apple Watch.
After watching Mr. Wong’s video, Tesla may plan to roll out its own watches that could control not only its EV but also its newly launched battery storage products. Tesla is known for coming up with technologically advanced vehicles and forming experiences for its drivers that no other automaker can offer.
It must be a dream come true for many Model S drivers to have a watch in which they could see the charging level of their EVs and call the car in front of their door. These are the kinds of features that Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, must be striving incorporate in its innovative products to further his future vision for the EV company.
Tesla is enthusiastic over adding computerized control and automation in its EVs and an unofficial Model S Apple Watch app is evidence that Tesla’s followers should be expecting something extraordinary in Tesla’s cars.
