The countdown has begun for the MAKTEK Eurasia 2014 Fair, which will be organized between October 14-19, 2014 at TÜYAP FAIR CONVENTION AND CONGRESS CENTER Büyükçekmece-Istanbul byTÜYAP Tüm Fuarcılık Yapım A.Ş. with the cooperation of TİAD Machine Tools Industrialists and Businessmen Association and MİB Association of Machine Manufacturers, and the valuable support of the Turkish Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology.

As the MAKTEK Eurasia 2014 Machine Tools, Metal-Sheet Metal Processing Machines, Tool Holders - Cutting Tools, Quality Control - Measurement Systems, CAD/CAM, PLM Software and Production Technologies Fair, we are preparing to host a well-known, effective, international fair once again.

The MAKTEK Eurasia 2012 Fair, which was organized to contribute to the “Machine Tools” sector, the locomotive sector with a strategic significance in the Turkish economy for meeting the export target of 500 billion dollars by 2023, and to become well known and promoted worldwide, hosted 59,600 professionals from 64 countries including Turkey in 12 halls grouped according to specialty. In the Fair which was held in April 2012 with the participation of 1,000 of the leading companies and company representatives from Turkey and around the world, international participants from Italy, Spain, Taiwan, Korea, China, India, England, Croatia, Japan and Germany gathered under the same roof with the sector leaders in this show of strength.

Some of the statistics of the MAKTEK Eurasia 2012 Fair are as follows: Foreign visitors from 54 countries on the continents of Asia and Europe made up 86.57% of all foreign visitors. Visitors from the 5 neighboring countries of Turkey made up 15.51% of all foreign visitors. Visitors from 16 EU member states attended the fair. 71.4% of fair visitors stated that they were decision makers within their company, either as a partner or an exclusive authorized officer. 99% of fair visitors considered the fair to be positive and beneficial. The group that offered the greatest commercial potential among fair visitors involved those aged 21 to 50, comprising 86.4% of total visitors. 99.2% of the visitors would like to visit the Maktek Eurasia 2014 Fair as well.

The MAKTEK Eurasia 2012 Fair participants from 34 countries found the opportunity to exhibit their latest technologies in an enclosed area of 98,000 m². Thanks to the unique quality and effectiveness of the marketing activities coordinated by TÜYAP’s 11 domestic offices as well as its international offices in Syria, Russia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Iran, Macedonia and Egypt, the Fair provided its participants the opportunity to find new and different business opportunities in Istanbul, and helped them discover new markets, diversify their customer portfolios and meet international professionals.
In the MAKTEK Eurasia 2014 Fair, participants will have the opportunity to exhibit their CNC and Universal Machining Equipment, Metal Sheet Processing Machinery, Cutting Tools and Tool Holders, CAD/CAM, PLM Software, Measurement Devices, Quality Control Devices and Equipment, Welding and Cutting Equipment, Welding Machines and Spare Parts, Thermal Processing Hardware, Transport Systems, and Lubrication and Cooling Systems; while Public Institutions, Relevant Professional Organizations, Financial Organizations, Industrial Publications, Universities and Industrial Associations will find the opportunity to exhibit the power of their publications alongside each other and will see all developments and innovations together.

Our target is to host more than 40,000 qualified visitors from 60 countries in our Fair and to create a unique platform for the sector to exhibit its strength through our extensive promotional and marketing efforts, as a result of our activities performed with the support of more than 30 foreign missions and representatives located in Istanbul for international participants and visitors. The MAKTEK Eurasia 2014 Fair, which will host extensive domestic and foreign purchasing committees under the scope of the “Fair Special Visitor Program”, is a specialized fair event not to be missed.
