Asia’s top show of its kind!
Wood Taiwan 2015, Taiwan’s largest & best woodworking machinery show that showcases the world’s fourth largest exporting industry will be taking place from July 2nd to 5th at TWTC NANGANG Hall this summer, where Taiwan’s expo-oriented woodworking machinery industry will join to profile top tech, wood materials, DIY tools and woodworking machinery that are further explored at featured seminars and workshops.
Since 1982, Wood Taiwan has ceaselessly dovetailed to lead the trends and markets. Organized by TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council) and TWMA (Taiwan Woodworking Machinery Association), it hosts 200 exhibitors using more than 1,200 booths to connect with more than 5,000 visitors.
Spotlighting the world’s top 4 wood tech exporter
Wood Taiwan 2015 brings out the best in Taiwan’s hi tech woodworking that ranks 4th in global exports. A fresh wave of smart, automated & ultra-speed woodworking machinery will be displayed, since woodworking machinery industry is Taiwan’s 3rd largest industry in machinery. And thanks to its agile cluster syndicate, more than 97% of her products are exported.
More than 87% of that cluster is located in the suburbs of Taichung, namely Shengang, Fongyuan and Houli. This massive syndicate applies a unique division of labor capable of providing everything from stand-alone woodworking machinery and upgrades to complete production lines and replacement accessories, parts and components.
To keep ahead Taiwan makers have meshed their skills with ICT for super smart automated and high speed woodworking machinery that’s produced under CE and ISO certified conditions for CNC machines, automatic flaw detecting full finger jointing material preparation lines and feeding systems. Several exhibitions are spotlighting boosted output, safety and resource saving with a strong focus on intelligent automation.
The industry is comprised of more than 300 small-medium sized entrepreneurs renowned for outstanding flexibility in filling customer orders. Time-sensitive, small batch variety orders are now on the rise. And in response these makers have the clout to deliver high quality and cost-competitive products that built with decades of skill and experience.
The above strengths let the industry offer complete product ranges that include: sawing, moulding, finger jointing, boring, edge banding, tenoning, sanding, polishing, buffing, gluing, pressing, packing, dust collecting, surface finishing and portable machinery.
